How to delete all email inside Gmail folder

You must have a label or folder that many emals automatically go to.

It now has over 1,000 emails in it. you don't need them.

Is there an easy way to delete them?   - Yes just follow below instructions

1 - Go inside the label or folder from which you want to delete all emails

2. select all read/unread mail using select drop down box.

3. Click the top check box (next to the 'Remove Label' button).  This should populate all check boxes on that page.

4. Look immediately above the top email in the list.  You should see a line stating "All xxx conversations on this page are selected.  Select all yyy conversations in 'label name'.

5. If you click on the 'Select all yyy...' portion of this statement, the line should change to 'All yyy conversations in 'label name' are selected'.

6. At this point, clicking the Delete button will move all conversations from this label into Trash.

NOTE: Deleting an email that is in a label will also delete it from any other labels it is in, including Inbox and All Mail.

Cheers
